I love being a therapist & Coach!
My personal mission is to assist Black women with managing stress, navigating many of life’s obstacles, setting boundaries, and building self-esteem.
I am passionate about creating partnerships with my community, incorporating their beliefs, and building upon their strengths.
I am a mother and a partner. In my free time I enjoy learning about entrepreneurship and personal finance. I am also an avid reader and lifelong learner.
I landed my first big girl job as a Therapist in adult & juvenile detention centers. I gained a lot of experience there but later left to work in Adoptions to assist children and families with creating strong bonds.
When my time ended there I worked as a Therapist and Clinical Director in community mental health. I also worked with the elderly population in assisted living facilities.
In the midst of a global pandemic, on Juneteenth 2020, I launched Legacy Wellness Services and provided free therapy to Black adults for 6 weeks.
Pivoting and taking a leap of faith led me to building an amazing mental healthcare practice where I get to help adults who look like me.
